Today we put on some side rails to the bed in Charlie's room. We then walked through our daily bed time routine with him twice but ending up in the bed rather than the crib. We think he's ready for it.
It starts with a bath, then dancing, then read books with a drink, then peepee, brushing the teeth, notre pere le fils et the saint esprit and off to the bed. He even pretended to snore. He was game! We shut the door and a few minute later started the morning routine. We thing he's ready.
It's almost 1 a.m. now and he went down easy (normail few minutes of fake crying) but was out like a light. He's been great and its starting too look like he transitioned pretty darn easy. Eileen took a look in and she said he was sprawled out over the whole bed.
