Ah yes, Charlie is starting to learn that Saturdays are a good thing. He didn't have to get up and ready right away and he could lounge around in his pyjamas and take it easy.
It was a rainy day and we took it easy in the morning and putzed around the house. We went out to sportsmart and got his first golf set, left handed one at that. Turns out that even though he's right handed he shoots hockey and golf like a lefty.
Sportsmart had a left handed set from Jack Nicholson on clearance, complete with 9 irons, hat and covers for the clubs. The back had shoulder straps and he put that on and bumped into everything at the store. He's ready to go out to the driving range with Dad now!
We found the driving range just a few miles up north along the lake and for a large bucket of 100 balls its $13 and enough activity for him to wear him out. He loves it, but heck, who wouldn't when you don't have to pick the balls up ;-)
P.S. No idea why the French call it Le Weekend...we know it as La fin de semaine...weird.
